The Rigmarollers + Mambo Jambo at Jamboree

A Friday night of early 20th century ragtime, blues and jazz at Jamboree with the The Rigmarollers, with support from Mambo Jambo and their tour bus full of instruments! Featuring Ed Hopwood (vocals, harmonica, percussion, guitar), Julian Marshall (guitar, fiddle, mandolin) and Ewan Penkey (sousaphone), headliners The Rigmarollers bring their unique take on the blues. A trio with a massive sound, they put vocals, harmonica, guitar and sousaphone over an irresistible backbeat. Over the last year they have made the leap to festival headliners, and released '21st Century Speakeasy Music’' LP last year. “A joy” - Bournemouth Echo In support, musical explorers and eclectic acoustic Roots duo Mambo Jambo bringing an upbeat mash-up of styles, with magically-crafted elements of roots, jazz, world and folk. The band features Pete on guitar, banjo, vocals, accordion, Cuban tres, and ukulele and Frankie on sax, vocals, clarinet, flute. And between them all lies all kinds of percussion! The duo have played venues and festivals all over the UK and internationally. Jamboree food option: Our ‘Zer’ kitchen is open from 5pm serving delicious Middle Eastern fusion food for you to enjoy a pre-gig meal/snack if you wish!
